Apologies & Valentine’s Day

Hi There,

It’s been a while time since I’ve made any new postings, I know! It was for a good reason — we actually found out that we’re expecting our third child, yay! but for the first trimester, as most mom’s, I wasn’t at my best! I’m in my second trimester now (thank God), and feeling like I’m human again, phew! And, I’m actually really happy I hit that sweet spot right in time for Valentine’s Day!!

I absolutely love Valentine’s Day! What’s not to love about Valentine’s, right? Whether you have a partner or not, it’s a day to celebrate love and the ones you love! To say ” I love you” and yes, give a little something special to make them feel even more loved and thought of!

And who doesn’t love chocolate? Well, I guess some people don’t but most do! Special taste of the season

Fall is here, and that means pumpkin season is here! If you’re a Pumpkin lover, you’ll be pretty excited (we hope) about our new pumpkin pack! Our new “Pumpkin Pie Brigadeiro” was created with natural pumpkin puree and a hint of special spices to sweeten your holidays even more!

With Chocolate lovers in mind, we have also created a special chocolate brigadeiro to delight. Our new “Sweet Curls Brigadeiro” is made with the highest quality chocolate, finished with milk and white chocolate curls!


Cake. Fruits. Brigadeiro

A fresh watermelon fruit cake topped with brigadeiros makes for a great summer party cake. I made it for a pool party, and it was a hit with the kids and grown-ups too! Here’s the super easy recipe:

1 small watermelon
2-3 peaches, thinly sliced
1 cup of fresh blueberries
12 gluten-free brigadeiros or more

Slice the watermelon into 3/4″ to 1″ thick slices. Place 1 slice of watermelon on a serving plate. Add a layer of sliced peaches. Repeat to form a 3 layer of watermelon cake. Add blueberries or berries of your choice to the top layer. Top it off with gluten-free Brigadeiros (add the brigadeiros right before serving).

Healthy Roast Cauliflower

Being a mom of two busy bees, I’m always trying to think of new healthy recipes that are quick and easy. So, I decided to try cauliflower in the oven and it was success! The busy bees ate it and it took me just a few minutes to prepare. Double score 😉 This dish is perfect to accompany a plate of gluten-free pasta or any entree. Here’s the recipe:

1 head medium cauliflower
Olive oil
Sea salt
Lemon and Pepper Seasoning
Parmesan Cheese

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease a baking pan or casserole dish.
Add cauliflower to baking pan or casserole dish. Sprinkle the cauliflower with olive oil, sea salt, lemon pepper seasoning and Parmesan to taste.
Bake for 25 minutes with foil cover. Top with more Parmesan cheese, uncover, and broil for 3 to 5 minutes, until golden brown.
